By adhering to EPACA, Euros / Agency is reiterating its values of high ethics and transparency in providing communications and public affairs’ services since its creation in 2012. Euros / Agency is convinced that these principles are quintessential in fostering an open and constructive dialogue, as well as trust between organisations and the different EU stakeholders.
EPACA was launched in January 2005 by communications and EU public affairs’ professionals who sought to establish a Code of Conduct to frame the professions. This Code is regularly updated by the member organisations, defining the framework under which public affairs’ should be practised. Notably, the EPACA code promotes a level of transparency which goes beyond that of the Transparency Register in Brussels, given that it requires its signatories to apply these principles during engagement with all stakeholders, such as NGOs and the media, and not just the policymakers.
