Focus on Euros / Agency Group’s interest representative activity
Euros / Agency Group acts as an interest representative in its public affairs and influence communication activities.
The French law n° 2016-1691 of 9 December 2016 on transparency, the fight against corruption and the modernisation of economic life (known as the “Sapin II” law) entrusts the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life with the management of a digital register intended to “ensure that citizens are informed of the relations between interest representatives and public authorities” (Article 18-1 of the French law n° 2013-907 of 11 October 2013 on transparency in public life).
Interest representatives are required to register on the digital register managed by the High Autority (https://www.hatvp.fr/le-repertoire/).
The Sapin II law establishes declaratory and ethical obligations common to all interest representatives.
In particular, interest representatives are required to make an annual declaration of their activities to the High Autority.
French Decree n° 2017-867 of 9 May 2017 on the digital register of interest representatives provides a legal framework for the activity of interest representatives.
The company Euros / Agency Group is registered in the register of interest representatives. It is subject to declaratory obligations and must respect the professional rules applicable to interest representatives defined by the aforementioned texts.
