Great Seaport of Marseille

Ideally located on the shores of the Mediterranean, the Port of Marseille Fos, France’s leading port, is the natural gateway to Europe. It is positioned as the Southern alternative to the ports of Northern Europe for access to the French and European markets.

In an area as large as the city of Paris, it has spaces and infrastructures to accommodate maritime, logistics and industrial activities.

As a generalist port, it handles all types of goods: hydrocarbons and liquid bulk (oil, gas and chemicals), general cargo (containers and other packaging), solid bulk (ores and cereals).

Fully controlled by the Generali Group, Europ Assistance comprises 44 companies in 34 countries, employing 8,380 salaried staff and a network of 425,000 partners working in the field.

 

Tunnel Euralpin Lyon Turin (TELT)

TELT is the public developer in charge of the construction and management of the cross-border section of the future Lyon-Turin link. The French State is the sole shareholder, with a 50% stake. Italy is represented by FS (Italian Railways), also with a 50 % stake.

This new promoter succeeds the company LTF (Lyon Turin Ferroviaire) which, from 2001 to 2015, carried out the studies and reconnaissance work.

The cost of the cross-border section is EUR 8.6 billion. The European Union is financing 40% of the project, the remainder being shared between the two countries (35% for Italy, 25% for France).
