ISSUES
ECCAS sought advice for the organization and communication of the March 19, 2020 roundtable on infrastructure financing in Central Africa. A high-level event supported by the African Development Bank, the main issue was the organization’s ability to mobilize private economic actors to participate in the meeting.
APPROACH
- Carrying out a detailed mapping of target companies on the continent and in Europe likely to be interested, soliciting stakeholders.
- Realization of a proactive and multilingual pan-African media campaign, and an increased presence on social networks, especially professional ones.
RESULTS
- A list of several new private donors identified and willing to participate
- An increase in the spontaneous awareness of ECCAS
- A round table unfortunately postponed at the last minute due to the health context
