CHALLENGES
Compagnie Nationale du Rhône (CNR) is the concession holder for the Rhône River, whose three joint missions make it a unique model in Europe. Since 2024, Euros/Agency has been working with CNR in Brussels, first on the pre-litigation of hydroelectric concessions between France and Brussels, then on a more general European public affairs mission.
APPROACH
- The team facilitated high-level meetings in Brussels between CNR executives and public decision-makers. In parallel, local actions (site visits) were also organized.
- Euros / Agency Group produced daily intelligence and analysis notes to feed the strategy.
- Finally, an exhibition under the patronage of an MEP was held at the European Parliament.
RESULTS
- Building and maintaining an institutional network in Brussels.
- Identification of CNR as a key contact for water-related issues.
- Identification of new European issues into which CNR can fit.
