Partner and Director for the Brussels office and European public affairs department and responsible for development in Brussels, Sloan is an experienced public affairs’ professional who advises and supports companies and trade associations on both EU policy and politics.

Before joining Euros / Agency Group, Sloan spent several years providing counsel in relation to environmental policies, as well as governmental relations, to a wide range of companies and trade associations across sectors.

He gained practical experience, providing public affairs’ support and strategic advice on dossiers such as the EU circular economy strategy, the revision of EU green public procurement on food and catering services, the clean energy for all europeans package and that of the ecodesign regulations. 

Sloan can furthermore boast an interest and experience in a plethora of skills, including dissecting political discourse and  analysing environmental economics while harbouring a fondness for classical literature. This diverse array directly fuelled the development of his writing and communications’ abilities across many sectors.  

Sloan has lived in France, the United Kingdom and Canada and eventually decided to settle in Brussels, Belgium. He graduated from the University of London and UCL with a Masters European Public Affairs. He speaks French, English and Italian fluently.
