Ellen joined Euros Agency after several years freelancing in public affairs and translation.
After earning a degree in French Studies at Leeds University in the UK, Ellen joined a marketing start-up in London, helping a small team craft and implement their marketing strategy. She then worked with a small UK company to help implement their marketing ideas before moving abroad.
Capitalising on her linguistic skills, Ellen then began to work as a freelancer for Euros Agency, where she worked remotely on public diplomacy and international political issues with the Paris team. She also worked for Portland Communications in the same field, and joined a translation agency where she specialised in French to English translation with an emphasis on business and politics texts.
Ellen is an English native who is fluent in French, and is learning German. She has lived in many cities around the world, including Melbourne, Da Nang, Toulouse, Lille and Bordeaux, where she wrote a blog about cheese.
A newbie to the French capital, she has left freelancing behind to work full time with the Euros Agency team in Paris before joining the Brussels office.
