Job Description

To be filled from September 2023 

Reporting to the Europe department in Brussels, the advisor will be responsible for assisting the teams in conducting public affairs and communication campaigns for the agency’s clients: governments, companies, associations and other international organisations. 

He/she will be supported by a team of about ten people under the supervision of the department managers. The working languages are English and French. 

 

Within a fast-growing agency, he or she will be responsible for :

  • Political, regulatory and legislative monitoring
  • Production of notes (briefings, articles, arguments, etc.) and mapping of key players
  • Participation in external meetings and/or conferences
  • Direct involvement in client accounts and participation in internal and client meetings 
  • Participation in one of the committees designed to animate the life of the agency

 

Following the internship and according to the evaluation by the managers, a possibility to remain within the agency as a consultant may be offered. 

Required profile

You have an excellent understanding of the European policy environment, its stakeholders and the decision-making process. 

You are looking for a rich, lively and challenging professional environment where initiative and entrepreneurial spirit are valued. 

You are able to handle several tasks with different deadlines, while remaining rigorous at all times. You like human contact and particularly enjoy working in a team.

You have created your own academic path, in particular through extra-curricular activities, rather than a particular degree or school. You are naturally curious, eager to learn and to meet new people. 

And in addition to being talented, you are a nice person with a great sense of humor who likes to talk about his/her passions.

 

Required qualities

  • Fluency in English and French (a third language is an asset)
  • Autonomy, rigour, initiative
  • Curiosity, good knowledge of European political news
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Team spirit, good comrade, team player

 

Education

At least a Master’s degree in political science, business, law, journalism or any other related subject
