Euros / Agency Group, one of the leading independent consultancies in strategic communications and public affairs, announces the appointment of Donatienne Brillant as Head of Public Affairs France. With over twenty years of experience in public institutions and advisory roles, she will lead a team of around twenty professionals. Alongside her, Paul Schmidtke has been appointed Deputy Head of Public Affairs France.

Donatienne Brillant’s main mission will be to drive the continued growth of the French Public Affairs department, which today stands among the largest “pure player” integrated teams in the Paris market.

She will be responsible for developing the agency’s client portfolio in Paris, consolidating its established expertise across key sectors such as energy, mobility, technology, AI, healthcare, and finance. She will also strengthen the Group’s investment in fast-growing sectors such as security, defense, and agri-food. In parallel, she will oversee Euros / Agency Group’s proprietary events program, launching new initiatives designed to foster high-level exchanges between business leaders and public decision-makers, both nationally and across French regions.

As department head and member of the executive committee, she will work closely with Euros / Agency Group’s other divisions, in particular the communications practices (crisis, corporate, corpsumer) and the Brussels office led by Thomas Murray. She will also coordinate joint initiatives with the Group’s senior advisors, including Olivier Dussopt, Gilles Savary, and Christian Rodriguez, former Director General of the French Gendarmerie, who brings particular expertise on security issues.

Mathieu Collet, President and Founder of Euros / Agency Group, stated: “We are delighted to welcome a professional of Donatienne’s caliber. Her comprehensive experience at the intersection of institutions and advisory will enable us to accelerate our development and consolidate our leadership in public affairs in France and Europe. Her arrival is a major asset for both our clients and our team.”

I am proud to join such high-level teams, work with committed and inspiring clients, and take the helm of a growing department that I am eager to lead to new heights.”

A recognized expert in the workings of politics, government, and national and local administrations, Donatienne has advised business leaders, federations, and major corporations in strategic sectors including energy, transport, finance, agri-food, and the circular economy. Her career has spanned the French National Assembly, senior positions at the Ministry of Ecology and Energy Transition, and leadership roles at top-tier public affairs consultancies such as Boury, Tallon & Associés and Séance Publique, where she managed consulting teams and led major client accounts with both strategic vision and operational efficiency.
